for my latest shoot I was asked to take different portraits for vivi909’s DJ debut. We shot in her apartment and I used one strobe and natural light.
This was a special photo shoot because we shot in a small apartment and with real cake since it was for a cake business. I learned to evenly light a scene in an apartment and to stay organised with time sensitive subjects such as cake with frosting. The photos were also published in the magazine Vanguard.
For my bachelor’ thesis project, I developed a photo series exploring individual female rage to showcase the different stages of female rage and to give authorship back to women, so they can accurately represent themselves.
I like this shoot because I got to practice storytelling in photography. For this setting the “run-and-gun”-style was most suitable to capture spontenuous yet well composed shots. The results were used as part of a photo story for a magazine about girlhood.
For this shoot I was asked to take photos for the restaurant Dorothea in berlin. The photos were used for their social media presence.
Whether its behind the scenes of photo/fashion or video shoots, I love to capture to energy of the moment. I was able to work at fashion shoots, runways, partys and concerts and gather skills and experience.
